One Police Department that deserves to be shut down. . .

It looks like tomorrow the President is going to Kenosha WI. I imagine he will survey the damage and I am guessing he will praise the work of law enforcement — specifically the Kenosha Police Department. Just seems like the right thing to do. Maybe I am wrong.

Makes perfect sense that he would. It began with a Kenosha Police Officer shooting a man in the back. Seven times. Two officers trying to make an arrest, he resist, he might be going for a weapon — shoot him seven times, in the back. OK shit happens. Mistakes are made. I understand, he was having a bad day.

Then you do what to prevent a riot? the Kenosha Police Department knows it is coming. They saw what happened across the US the month of June. So they know it is coming. And they do what? Who knows. I am drinking my coffee one morning last week as I watch a reporter stand in front of a car lot of burned out cars, reporting from Kenosha.

We are 0 for 2 now.

Then they allow these folks to come in and support them. The Kenosha Police Department deputize some of the locals to help them contain the rioting. Alright. That might work. Maybe. In comes this 17 year old from another state with a rifle.

They do not ask him who he is? They do not ask how old is he(?), or whether he has a license or permit for that weapon? Nothing. They give him some water and someone tells him to stand and guard some burned out buildings. Until the shit hits the fan and he starts running.

He has not support. He has no team to bail him out. They simply allow this kid into a dangerous situation armed with a rifle and provide him no back up, no training, and basically allow him to fend for himself. And he ends up killing two people and wounding another. Most likely in self-defense but still two people are now dead. Dead at the hands of the Kenosha Police department.

They were responsible for the kid, yes? They thanked him for his support. They provided him some water and sent him on to his post. He was not part of any group or team that worked together out there. He was on his own and he had no choice but to defend himself. Again, no back up, no training. He was 17 and was not suppose to carrying such a weapon.

And then on top of it, they work with the DA to charge him with two counts of murder. The Kenosha Police Department sparked this situation, they failed to defuse the situation, and then brought in a seventeen year old who proceeded to kill two people. And it is the Kenosha Police Department and their DA that have him charged for those two murders.

What a job they did. The Kenosha Police Department truly does deserve the President’s praise. It is would be the whip cream and cherry on top of this end of summer concoction.
