Tucker Carlson — Who apparently has little use for Dr. Jill Biden, various doctorate degrees and merticracy. . .

Oh my God. I just flipped to Fox and Tucker is going on and on about Dr Jill Biden and her dissertation. Critiquing her math skills and so forth. Basically asserting that she is stupid and a fraud.

WTF. . .

What the hell? On national TV. And she serves no role in Biden’s government. She is our President-Elects spouse. I feel sorry for Dr Biden. Tucker was talking some serious shit.

And his intent was obvious. He wanted to insult Dr Biden, insult her husband — President-Elect Joe Biden, ridicule a PhD in education — obviously not a real doctor, suggesting it is a fraud. Putting a woman in her place, and lastly as he noted — challenging the concept of meritocracy.

Challenging Meritocracy. You no longer need or want to be a specialist. We no longer need professionals to manage and maintain our colleges and Universities. We no longer appreciate such skills or people apparently. We no longer need public health professionals.

I suggest it is exactly the attitude that explains in part our educational struggles today, and more dramatically our 3300 deaths due to covid today. We do not need specialization. Common sense is sufficient.

I pray Mr Carlson’s academic records and the like are not online. I am sure someone has the time and the appetite to have fun with that. I actually hope that does not happen but. . . Well. . Yeah. . . That could be fun. Yes it would.

Regardless, this is what will be greeting the Bidens. This is the US in 2020. There will be no honeymoon. Hell no. We will be lucky if they are not greeted by a drive-by as they settle into the White House on January 20th.

And Meritocracy? That was not a target in the past, but it is today. Tucker ended with that. This is not the first time we have heard such nonsense, but it was never asserted so boldly before. A person that spends their life studying a certain domain today is now seen as offering nothing. Such studies are now worthless. As Tucker pointed out such Doctors, those who pursue PhDs in studies such as education are frauds — They are today but impersonating medical doctors.

And this is heard on one of our largest cable television news networks. One of their highest rated shows and by one of their biggest personalities.

This is America today.
